Leadership

Kurt Klein
Kurt Klein, CEO

Kurt is an industry veteran with 15+ years of executive experience building and leading DataEndure. During his tenure, DataEndure has partnered with industry leaders like Symantec, PureStorage, Veritas, and DAMAC to help customers like Renown Health, American Express, Facebook, and CenturyLink meet specific business challenges and build digital resilience.

Kurt possesses a strong commitment to charity. He served as board member for Easter Seals Bay Area for two years, and his company works with local charities to make the Bay Area a better place.

Kurt holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.

Vince Zappula, CRO
Vince has over 25 years of experience and success as a information technology sales leader.
 
Vince joined DataEndure in 2008 and has worked with over 100 Fortune 1000 companies to help them meet their IT business objectives. Vince also has extensive experience helping fast-growing startups leverage cloud services and design an infrastructure that scales. 
 
Prior to joining DataEndure, Vince was the VP of Sales at RedBridge IT and held sales leadership roles at Kashya (Acquired by EMC), and StorNet.
Patrick Chris
Patrick Chris, CFO/COO

Patrick is a strategic and financial executive with more than 20 years of experience in finance. As CFO and COO of DataEndure, Patrick is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management to ensure growth.

Prior to joining DataEndure, Patrick held finance-focused roles at companies such as eMadison, Inc., Emergency Financial Services, and PrimeQuest International.

Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Stanislaus.

Shahin Pirooz
Shahin Pirooz, CTO
Shahin has more than 2 decades leading technology teams and is the current Chief Technology Officer at DataEndure. He joined DataEndure in 2016 and is responsible for sales-engineering, partner relations and IT. Shahin brings decades of technology, research & development and partner development experience to the DataEndure leadership team.
 
Prior to joining DataEndure, Shahin was CTO at CenterBeam and RiverMeadow and held leadership roles at EarthLink, AppShop and EDS.

Kirstin Burke, CMO

Kirstin leads the strategic communications and marketing programs to create brand awareness and preference, generate demand for solutions and services, and foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Kirstin has over 20 years of technology marketing and communications experience, having held senior management roles across IT infrastructure, service and solution organizations.

Under her leadership, her teams have received recognition including one of five finalists recognized for “outstanding performance” in the category of Marketing Department of the Year by the American Business Awards (also known as the Stevies) as well as  DemandGen as a "Top 10 Firm Using Automation Tools To Fuel Business Growth".
